Just Another Trick of the Devil!

Well, once again I just learned of the passing of another victim of cancer, Donna Summer. I was saddened once again. I absolutely hate cancer, hate hearing the name, hate the effects of it, hate how it tears up families, destroys home, hate the one who is behind it! This is yet another one of satan's evil schemes, devices, attacks on mankind. He has ravaged so many bodies, homes, families with this evil disease.

I recall several years ago, in a hospital elevator, hearing a young lady who had just visited a loved one, she cried and said how much she hated cancer. Reading today on Facebook, about Donna Summer's death, once again, I saw that someone posted about how he hated cancer.

Cancer is a cruel disease. It is demonic. It is relentless in some cases. I hear people talk about it, bow down to it, back away from it, as though it has all power. It does not! Some people give it more power than they give God. I am always so amazed when I hear folks talk about cancer and how powerful it is. It is not more powerful than God. Please, I am in no way, downplaying what cancer has or is doing to people. I have seen it do horrible things, but cancer is not God.

God is All-powerful, no doubt about it! He has all power over cancer. God can heal anything, and everything. it does not matter what the illness, sickness, disease or malady is-God is more powerful. He can get rid of it. God hates it as much as I do. He hates it because He knows that once again, satan is destroying, or attempting to destroy a life. he does not have to win. God has promised us that He will heal ALL of our diseases.-(Psalm 103:)3, God promised that He will not put diseases on us, but that He will heal all of them-(Exodus 15:26), this includes cancer, diabetes, a cold, a broken fingernail, an aching back-whatever, it is included in ALL, God promised that He will not let any weapon that is formed against us, to hurt or destroy us-(Isaiah 54:17); sickness and disease is a weapon formed by the enemy (satan) against people. In Matthew 13:15, Jesus said that every plant which my heavenly Father did not plant, SHALL be rooted up. Cancer is a growth, God did not plant it, BUT He promised to up root it! God promises that His Word would be Medicine to all our flesh, if we give our attention to and BELIEVE His Word-(Proverbs 4:20-22), God promises that we can have what we say, when we say what The Word says...(Mark 11:23-24). When we say and believe that by Jesus' stripes we are healed, when we say that what Jesus did on the cross was for us, that it is a finished work, not that He is going to heal us, but that Jesus has already healed us, and healing is our covenant right...etc. We can make a demand on the Word. We can decree that our body is healed, because God said that it is! The Word said that we can decree a thing and it will be established! Decree total healing in your body.

GOD WANTS US WELL! He is NOT mad at us. He does NOT make people sick. He is NOT trying to teach us something. He is NOT trying to humble us. He is NOT punishing us! He gets no glory out of people dying with any sickness or disease. Acts 10:38 says that sick sick people are oppressed by the devil, NOT by God! Jesus said in Luke 13:11-16, that this woman was oppressed for many years by the satan, NOT by God. God said that she should have been healed a long time ago! God anointed Jesus to go around healing, NOT making people sick! Jesus said that He only does what His Father does-never has it said in the Word that Jesus made anyone sick!

I say this with all sincerity, if it is the will of God that folks be sick, then Jesus is OUT OF THE WILL OF GOD! I'm just sayin'!

Sweet Peace!

Hi! It's me, yeah it's been a while...been enjoying life! I have vacationed with family, as always I have loved being with my husband and our sons, I have just been chillin'!

Ever been in a place where every thing is "just right"? I am at that place. It is a good place. It is a place where every thing is calm. I am not saying that my life is filled with drama, it absolutely is not, thank God...but I am at a place where peace abides...where birds are singing...the shrubbery outside is pretty and green, lush and still, and there is a quiet, stillness all around me. No I don't believe that it is the "calm before the storm"! I don't believe that I should be looking for and expecting storms in my life! I have learned to expect these quiet, peaceful times...the older I get, the more I expect times like these. I love peace. Please don't get me wrong, I am concerned about the world that I live in...family and friends. I am concerned about folks hurting, stressed, sad, depressed. I have just learned to relax, be still, get quiet, soak in the moment. it is awesome. Not running around, rushing everywhere. I believe that God has given us the power to choose...am I going to be stressed, worried, or fearful, or am I going to really believe and trust Him, and experience moments like these?

I am actually cooking, house smelling and filled with the aroma of red beans simmering on the stove, it even looks like the beans are at peace, just the right simmer! They are even calm.

I just noticed that it is getting cloudy and dark outside...looks like the sky is about to open...rain is on the way! It is about to be even calmer. I like the rain too. I am beginning to hear the gentle rumbling of thunder...even it is not boisterous as thunder can be, even it is a quiet thunder. Funny isn't it, everything at peace.

God wants us to live life at a calm. He wants us to relax, experience His presence and His embrace. He wants us to know that every thing is alright! The enemy tries his best to convince us that everything is wrong. He wants us to be in a constant state of turmoil...the more stress, and drama...he happier he is!
God on the other hand, wants us to be still. He wants to really lead us to still waters, to enable us to lie down in green pastures, even if those pastures are in your home, in your favorite spot in your home, even in a nice warm bath, with lots of bubbles and soft candlelight, even at your stove, stirring a pot of beans...wherever He is, and wherever you are with Him!

Yes, I can sit looking out my window in our family room, I can close my eyes and instead of Calgon taking me away, I am taken away by Him, to a quiet place, a refreshing place, an intimate place of fellowship with Him, loving my Daddy's embrace. no one can hold me like my Father can...I am getting teary-eyed as I write this.

Well, the timer is ringing on the stove...gotta go check on the beans. Just wanted to share a little peace with you!

I love you guys!
