What Are YOU Saying?

Wow, how Amazing is God? Truly, truly, truly Amazing! I just love how He continues to reveal wonderful truths to us, if and when we really take the time to listen to, and really hear Him. I came upon a passage of scripture on yesterday, that really got my attention, so much so that i dreamed about it, and it was the first thing that was on my mind today, when my eyes opened this morning. It was not a familiar verse to me, in fact, I was reading from a Psalm that I was not very familiar with-Psalm 105. The caption over this particular Psalm in my Bible is-God Keeps His Promises. I was captivated by the caption, so I stopped to read the Psalm. In it, it talks about how God is a covenant God, and how He remembers His covenants and promises, and how He moves on the behalf of His people who He is in covenant with. I came to the verses where the writer is talking about the events in Joseph's life, how he was in chains, sold as a slave, some pretty not so good things! Anyway, this one verse, really stopped me, really got my attention...verse 19-Until the time that his word came to pass, the word of the Lord tested him. You are probably saying, what is so big about this scripture? it was really big to me.
I think about things that the Lord promises me in our quiet time together. Maybe you too recall something that He promised you a week ago..."That bill is paid, manifestation of your healing will show up, your marriage is fixed, your child's life is turned around, I brought them back home". Maybe you really believed what He said, but a week later, it seems like nothing has changed. That has happened to me to at times. You wait for the change to manifest, but nothing seems to change. Verse 19 said, until the time that his word came to pass, (the words that you speak should be the words that God speaks about you) the word of the Lord tested him...the word tested him! That word tested him...by His stripes YOU are healed, I will supply YOUR need, I give you goodly houses to live in, and fill them with good things, I keep my promises, I will not lie to you"!
When it seems so long that we have waited, when it seems like nothing is changing, when it seems like God is not doing anything, that word is testing you, to see if you really believe it! Do you really believe what you are saying? Do you really believe that YOU are healed, when your body still hurts? Do you really believe that God supplies all of YOUR needs when your bank account balance is $5? Do you believe that YOUR child really is a gift from God, when that child is disrespectful and doing drugs, out on the street? The Word says that your are healed, that you are prosperous, that your child is the seed of the righteous and that he or she is delivered. The word wants to see if you really believe IT, or your circumstances. You are the one who will determine which one wins...the Word or the circumstances. The choice is yours! What are you saying about you? What words are you saying about your body? What are you saying about your spouse? What are you saying about your finances? What are you saying about your child? What are you saying about your neighborhood? it is up to you!

Merry Christmas!

As I sit here this morning, in my quiet time with God, I am meditating on who He is, on all of the great things that He has done for each of us, on how much that he loves us all!

I was meditating on the sermon that He gave me to preach on yesterday, from the verse of scripture in Isaiah...Isaiah 9:6. I am not going to write it out for you, because I want you to find it in your Bible, and hold the Word of life in your hands.

As I said on yesterday, this particular scripture has been used as a Christmas scripture at every Christmas. It is always the verse that is preached on, it is the verse that is found printed on so many Christmas cards, but God said on yesterday to me, that it is more than just a "Christmas verse", it is for every day of your life!

I have read this verse many times...but God said on yesterday to me, to really sit and let Him talk to me about it. Here is what he said:

The world today, is talking about, dissatisfied with, angry at the government of their country. They are depending on politicians to solve their problems, get them jobs, fix the economy...and basically anything else that is wrong in their life. More and more, the citizens of the various countries around the world, not just America, or becoming more and more disappointed in the government. God said to me "tell them that it is time to change governments"! God's government, in His Kingdom, is strong, and stable, and solid, and intact! It has no economic issues, not threatened by a fiscal cliff, don't contain a trillion dollar debt. Everything is all good in His government! You can enjoy all of the benefits of His government, IF you are a Kingdom Citizen, and you can enjoy the benefits now! You don't have to die and go to heaven to enjoy God's Kingdom, it's here right now, it is God's will, His culture, His laws, His wealth, His intent, for all mankind, and it is right here, right NOW! It available for everyone...just get into His Kingdom and become one of His Citizens. As a citizen of the Kingdom of God, we have access to ALL that God has, and He owns and has everything...health, wealth, peace, power, anointing, security, wow so many awesome and amazing things, and as a citizen, we have access to it ALL! God's wealth is not for Him, it is for us, His citizens! So perhaps you might want to change governments!

Wonderful! Do you need some wonderful things to show up in your life right about now? Some peace, some joy, a little bit of love, some confidence, some assurance that everything is all-right. Jesus is Wonderful, not only because of what He does, but more importantly because of WHO He is! He is wonderful, and He loves to do wonders! Try Him!

Counselor...are you in need of a Counselor today? He is an excellent one! Do you have a decision to make and don't know what to do? Turn to Jesus, He knows what you need to do, and He will counsel you as to what to do about your situation...whatever it is. He knows about everything...that job that you are considering, that person who has just asked you to marry them, that debt that you are considering, whatever it is, He's a wonderful counselor, and will never steer you wrong.

Mighty God...all powerful God, the one who is stronger that depression, stronger than fear, stronger that cancer, stronger than lack, stronger than anything, and anyone! Cast ALL of your cares upon Him, He is mighty, He can handle and fix every one of them! He has all power in His hands. Put that care, that bill, that child, that marriage, your body in His hands...they are mighty hands!

Rules seem to change every day. I was watching an NFL game on yesterday, and a yellow, penalty flag was thrown on one particular play, and I being the rule "expert" like so many Americans across the USA, disagreed with the call. Of course, the coach disagreed also, and challenged the call. Well, one of the announcers said something that got my attention, he said, "the rule was just recently changed". Wow, in the sports field, it seems like the rules change for every play! There was once a time when a person was hired at a particular company, and they were assured that they could work there at least 30 years...not always true today. Jobs end, companies go out of business, things which were always so stable...are not like that today.
But God...is Everlasting! He is an Everlasting Father! He has been around, and will BE around! You can count on Him! He is an Everlasting Source, Everlasting Salvation, Everlasting  Peace, Everlasting Love, Everlasting Joy, Everlasting Provider and Healer, and Shepherd, and Righteousness...I can go on and on. He is constant, like middle C!

Peace, Peace, Wonderful Peace...you can only get it from Him! Not from a bottle, you can't inhale it, you can't smoke something and get peace, not from a pill, not from a doctor, not from a degree...only from the Prince of Peace! He is our Peace! This holiday season, is a source of stress for many people. Some don't have family, many are just lonely, many are worried about not having the money to shop, whatever it is, there is a lack of peace. Turn to the Prince of Peace. Externals won't bring you Peace, not real peace.

This is what God shared with me on yesterday and even more today. He said to encourage the people.
"Many can't even enjoy Christmas, because they are worried about a bill that is due on January 14, 2013".
He said it, I don't know why He named that particular day, but that is what He told me.

Anyway, tomorrow is Christmas. Decide that you are not going to be stressed, worried, or depressed! Decide that you are going to have a great Christmas, that someone is going to invite you to share Christmas with them, that you won't be alone!

I speak peace over you, joy and blessings overtaking you, love and laughter surrounding you, surprise gifts coming to you! I pray you you, that you have a very Merry Christmas and a Wonderful, prosperous, Peaceful New Year! All of this can be yours today and always!

Do you KNOW Jesus? have you invited Him to live in your heart? Have to realized that He died just for you on the cross, in order to take away your sins, and that if you were the only person on earth, He still would have died just for YOU? He loves YOU, YOU are already forgiven, you just have to confess it with your mouth. God raised Jesus from the dead for YOU! He is alive for YOU. He will move into your heart today if you ask Him to. He wants to. He has been waiting for you to ask Him to. What an awesome Christmas gift. He is God's gift to YOU. What a great gift for you to receive this Christmas...Salvation, Eternal Life, a new nature, the life of God coming to live with YOU and in YOU forever! Ask Him in today!

Pray this: Dear God, I know that without Jesus I am lost. I believe and confess with my mouth, that Jesus died for me, and that You raised Him from the dead for me. I receive your forgiveness now. Jesus come into my heart, and live in me. Thank you for saving me! Fill me with Your holy Spirit that I may live for You. Thank You Jesus. Amen!

That's it...welcome to the Family of God, to new life, to Freedom! I guarantee you...You will have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Life!

(Please leave a comment. Let me know that you prayed this prayer today)

YOU Do It!

Good morning people. It is 5:13 in the morning and here I sit blogging. I am up and I went to bed last night with a heavy heart, as a result of the senseless tragedy that took place in Connecticut on yesterday, at Sandy Hook Elementary school. I am so saddened by the loss of lives, as well as for the person who committed this awful act. I sat and watched twice this week, shootings that took the lives of innocent people, people that were just living their life, not bothering anyone. Going to a mall or to a school as usual, not knowing that they would leave home one minute, and never return home again. It is so not right. After each of these tragedies, whether it's in a mall, a school, a movie theater, wherever, I watch and listen to the responses of people all over America, saying things like, "what is God doing?, it is God's will, we may never understand why He let this happen, we must pray harder, God is speaking". I hear statements like these, so often after a tragedy. It is as if God Himself, walked into a school and killed innocent children. He did NOT! God did not do this, and He did not allow it to happen, the body of Christ did! Ok, you are really mad now, I know it...but it is true...the body of Christ, the Church, let it happen! How can I say that you might ask? I say it, because it is true. I know that many will say that I am crazy, that I have lost my mind. It is ok, I haven't.

After every tragedy of this magnitude, I hear people cry out to God for Him to do something, but in reality, God is probably crying out for us, the body of Christ, those who claim to be Christians, believers, those who are saved, sanctified and filled with the Holy Ghost, He is probably crying out for us to do something!

Why do I say this? I say it because God put us in charge of this earth. He gave us the assignment of governing, mastering, ruling, and controlling this earth, blood bought, believers, yes, us! Those who have been made in the image and the likeness of God! His sons and daughters! (Genesis 1:26) God gave us the dominion to rule Earth. He rules Heaven, but it is our assignment to rule here. I am sure that many are getting even more angry at what I am saying, but I didn't say it, God said it! God put us in charge. God gave us a spirit like that is amazing! We have been created with awesome ability and potential in us. We have the ability to make discoveries, inventions that would change this planet...we already have! Man was created with capabilities that we have not even tapped into yet. Adam, a man with a spirit like God in him, named every animal, insect, every creeping thing on this earth, a man did that. Do you know how many bugs there are on this planet, how many animals exist here, and a man named everyone of them. We have God's ability in us! He gave us power over this Earth, power over hurricanes, sickness and disease, the economy, over all the resources that are in the Earth...the silver and the gold, iron ore, diamonds, everything that mankind would ever need, God put it in the earth and gave us dominion over it! Our capabilities are amazing!

When God delivered Moses and he children of Israel out of Egypt, and they came to the Red Sea, they began crying out in fear. They felt trapped by the sea in front of them, and Pharoah's army behind them. Where would they go, and what would they do? Moses cries out to God to help them, and God in essence asked Moses, "why are you crying to me, you divide the sea"! (Exodus 14: 15-16-And the Lord said to Moses, "Why do you cry to Me? Tell the children of Israel to go forward. But lift up your rod, and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it.") God didn't divide the Red Sea, Moses did! God gave Moses the power to divide it. Moses had the dominion that God gave us all the way back to the Garden. God has not changed His mind. We still have dominion and authority in this Earth, we just have to use it! We have been taught that God divided the Red Sea, but Moses did! God would not do what He (God) gave man the power to do! He is still saying the same thing today, "Why are to crying to Me?" I gave you power to stop terrorists, to stops folks from walking into theaters, malls, schools, churches, and taking lives. I gave you power to stop hurricanes, tornadoes, disease, economic problems, corrupt politicians and judges etc. The Church is here on this earth, to stop things from happening, and to not conform and cower under this world system, but to take over! To dominate! To stop the power of darkness! We are waiting on God, but God is waiting on US! These tragedies will continue to happen unless the Church rises up as the powerful body that it is, and take over! That is why we are here, to take over. We are Ambassadors, Heaven's representatives in the Earth, to dominate and take over! We are the light in a dark world!

Jesus has us here to take up what he began while He walked the earth. he told us that the same works that He began, we are to do, and even greater works! We are to heal the sick, cast out devils, not be afraid of the devil, we are to raise the dead, open blinded eyes! Us, yes US! Jesus said so. (John 14:12-"Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also, and greater works than these he will do, because I go to my Father") Jesus said this! We are supposed to do what He did, not cry to God for God to do it. If we want these tragedies to stop happening, we must stop them and the spirits behind the people who do these horrible crimes. These people who do these terrible things, don't even realize that they are being controlled by satan. We ask how can they do these things, they're not, satan is doing it through them! It is so sad that they don't know that they have given themselves to be used by satan, but it is sadder that the Church does not operate in the power, dominion and authority that God has given us. We have delegated authority over all the Earth. We are not to use that power to control people, but we are to use that power and authority to control the evil spirits that are controlling the people! As believers, we have power! We don't have to just sit around and let stuff happen to us!

God said that whatever we allow here on earth, He will allow! So when we hear people say that God allowed something to happen, He allowed it, because we allowed it! If we just sit by and allow satan to put cancer on us, to steal our children, walk into a school and kill 20 innocent children and adults, to steal finances, jobs, steal our peace and joy, then guess what, God will allow it too! He allows what we allow! (Matthew 18:18-"Assuredly, I say, whatever you bind(not allow) on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose(allow) on earth will be loosed in heaven"!) Jesus said this! In other words, if we don't allow sickness and disease on earth, heaven will go into action and see that it won't show up on earth. If we don't allow hurricanes, a collapsed economy, corrupt politicians, judges, bosses, folks going into theaters, schools, malls, our homes or anywhere else killing, then heaven won't allow it either! If we allow peace and prosperity, health, love and joy on earth, heaven will again go into action to bring these things on earth! We have the power! God will not do what He has given us power to do!

Stand up man or woman of God, take authority over those situations in your life that have tormented you! Put a stop to things that are happening to your children, in your marriage, in your community that you know should not be happening! We have the power to turn this world around! I know that many won't agree with what I just said...it's ok. It is still true! (Hosea 4:6- My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.)

Love you. Have a great weekend!

Happy Holidays to All...CELEBRATE!!!

Good morning to you. I am so happy, excited, and just plain overjoyed this morning, because we are one day away from the official start to the holiday season! Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, and I am so looking forward to celebrating it with family and friends. Although Thanksgiving is celebrated one day a year, I am so very thankful everyday. God is so good to us, everyday! I don't know about you, but I thank Him daily, most of the day! He is such an awesome God, and He is so worthy of all of our praise and gratitude! One day simply is not enough for me to say thank you to a Father like ours! I love, love, love the holidays. The fellowship, wonderful food, festivities of the season, the wonderful decorations...all of it! I have my seasonal fragrance smelling up the whole house, Christmas songs are already playing in the house, and of course the television is always tuned to the Hallmark channel...have to watch the Christmas movies over and over again!

Even in  my excitement, I do know that for many, this is not a very exciting time of the year. Many have encountered many challenges this year...the loss of a loved one, a job loss, economic issues, relationship issues, whatever the challenge is, I know that it may have affected you to the point that you don't even want to celebrate this year. I heard on television a couple of days ago, that a survey was recently taken, and about 27% of Americans, are skipping the holidays this year...not celebrating at all! Wow, this is so sad! I am in no way downplaying the seriousness of the challenges this season for those in that survey, but I still have to focus on the true reason of the season...JESUS! If you don't have a dime in your pocket, a job to go to, the loss of a loved one, JESUS is still the reason why we celebrate! We celebrate Thanksgiving because we celebrate Jesus and who He is, and how He has blessed us. We celebrate Christmas because Jesus came in human flesh, to dwell among us, and to save us, and to give us abundant life! It's all about Him!

I know what it's like to lose a loved one around the holidays. The enemy loves to cause you to remember them and get real sad. I sat in a funeral home, on Thanksgiving night, in 1987, looking at my mother laying in a casket. I stood in a cemetery the day after Thanksgiving, watching them bury her. Thanksgiving can really be a sad time for me, if I let it be, but I don't! I choose to focus on the wonderful times that she and I shared, and I rejoice that she is with the Lord, enjoying herself! Depression is a choice! We can choose to be depressed, or we can choose to be joyful. We certainly have much to be joyful about. If you are even able to read this post, that means that you are alive, you have a computer, electrical power to operate it, eyes to see it, and the capacity to read it. You are blessed!

Cheer up, get excited! I like what David said in the Bible, in Psalm 42: he is talking to himself. He asks himself a question: "self why are you down in the dumps, why are you crying the blues? Self, I am going to fix my eyes on God, I am going to be praising again! God puts a smile on my face, He's my God! When my soul is in the dumps, I rehearse all that I know about you"! He starts off asking himself why is he down, but he ends up talking to himself about how good God has been to him, and he just rehearses all that God has done in his life! When depression tries to overtake you, stop and recall how good God has been in your life! That will make you smile again! God is good to us!

You may be saying, "I don't know this God". Well, I can't think of a better time to know Him, than now!
He knows YOU, and He loves YOU! He wants to be your Savior and Lord! Jesus came, bled, and died, just for YOU! He wants you to live a life of freedom from sin, He wants to live in you...to guide you, to give you wisdom, to teach you about loving others, He just wants to pour out an abundance of love and blessings upon YOU! He wants to have a relationship with YOU. His death was for YOU...to take away your sins, to put you right with God! He is always ready to receive YOU. He has forgiven your sins, and you are reconciled back to God. All you have to do is ask Him into your heart, and Receive Him as Savior and Lord. he is ready to move in!

Pray this prayer: Dear God, I know that without Jesus I am lost. I believe that Jesus died for me, and that you raised Him from the dead for me. Jesus, come into my heart. Be my Savior and Lord. I am sorry for my sins, and I thank You for saving me and for your forgiveness! Fill me with your Holy Spirit, so that I will have power to live for you. Thank you. Amen!

That's it! Congratulations to you! Please let me know that you prayed this prayer, so that I can celebrate your new freedom in Christ, with you!

Jesus, is how you can be happy and rejoice through the holiday season! The joy of the Lord is your strength!

Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas too!
Jesus Loves YOU, and I do too!

Enough is Enough!

Ever been in a place where you have just had enough? Tired of stuff, tired of things said, tired of things happening all around you? I must admit, I have arrived at that place, and I am absolutely tired of stuff. I guess that I might say that I have a " holy indignation"! I am really tired of watching satan just wreak havoc in this world, and so many people are joining his bandwagon. I have never witnessed so much division, meanness, hatred, as I am at this time. As we get closer to Election Day, the comments seem to be getting meaner as the day goes by. I can hardly enjoy Facebook, without some mean comments about the election. Watching television, even some Christian programs, have become equally as bad! I do know that we live in America, where freedom of speech exists, and I am in no way saying that a citizen has no right to say what he wants to. I am just so tired of seeing the "Real Enemy", get away with his tricks. satan is the one who is really behind all of the problems around us, that plague America! God told us in His Word that flesh and blood (people) are not who the battle is with. Our battle is with satan and all of his wicked spirits, yet we continue to fight each other! That is so crazy! God clearly tells to to not fight each other, He evens has it where we don't even have to "figure out" who our enemy is, He tells us who our enemy is, yet we just from day to day, continue to fight, insult, disrespect, devour, and murder (with words), one another, while all along, satan laughs! Wow!

Everyone who really knows me, knows that I am not a messy person, that I respect everyone's right to be who they choose to be, to believe what they choose to believe, to say what they choose to say. I have never tried to force my beliefs on anyone. I simply love peace, and I truly desire for all of us to be happy and to live the truly abundant life, that can only come through Christ Jesus! I am not a politician, in the natural world, but I am one in the spiritual world, because I am an Ambassador for Christ, representing His country. I know that His country is one guided by Love! I know that as a people, we will not always agree, will not always see things the same way, or even do things the same way. I get that, but can we do it in love? Can we stop devouring one another? Can we stop playing into the hands of the enemy, and carrying out his evil desires? I'm just sayin'!

I know from the Word of God, that as a believer, a kingdom citizen, that God has given me some rights and some power and authority. I have the right to not be a victim of satan's devices, I have the right to prosper, I have the right to live the abundant life. I have the authority to demolish satans strongholds that have stood through the years...strongholds of terrorism, racism, poverty, sickness and disease, division, hatred etc. I have watched these things increase more and more in recent years, and I declare with the power in me, that his kingdom is demolished! I speak to the demonic spirits behind racism, terrorism, poverty, infirmity, to go back to the pit of hell, where you came from! I lock up and bind up racism, hatred, terrorism, natural disasters, sickness and disease, poverty, and all of the other wickedness that satan has unleashed on this world! I unlock and loose LOVE, peace, joy, prosperity, protection, understanding, health and wholeness! Jesus told us in Matthew 16:19, that He gives us the keys to unlock heaven on earth. When we as believers stand and agree together concerning anything that we pray about, God goes into action, on our behalf! (Matthew 18:19) We have power! What we allow, Jesus will allow! If we continue to allow all of the things that have plagued our world, heaven will allow it too! Too many people have said that God "allowed such and such to happen" Did he really, or did we allow it? God allows, what we allow! He gave us power over the earth! (Genesis 1:26...I give them (mankind) power over the earth. Psalm 115:16-the heavens are the Lord's, but the earth, He has given to the sons of men (Us).

I am just saying everybody, that the real battle is NOT with each other, not one race against another. satan is the one who all of our battles are with. He is the one that we need to be resisting! We don't even have to fight him, just stand against all of his mess...he is already Defeated, don't let him defeat you!

Nothing Thrills Me More...

Wow, good morning. It has been a while since I have posted, but I just had to this morning. I do hope that everyone is well, and enjoying this wonderful day that God has blessed us to see and enjoy.

I am just getting up and out of bed this morning, after having just gone to bed a 4 am this morning! Yes I stayed up last night during what I like best...spending some good, quiet time with God and His Word. I love those wonderful hours when everyone in my house is asleep, no phones ringing, doorbells, or the sound of the TV...just quietness, stillness, and calm...my time! I cherish those moments...I love them so much! As I was up this morning, and enjoying my reading, I came across a couple of verses of scripture that I had not remembered ever reading before. Awesome scriptures that I shared on Facebook before I went to bed. I was just prompted to share them, and I did. I never post anything on this blog, or on Facebook, unless I know that God tells me to. I have come to realize that whatever He tells me to post, is going to minister to someone, so I did exactly what he instructed me to do!

A few months ago, during our time together, I asked God to let me do something. I asked God to let me minister to 5 people a day, every day! Ministry to me may mean, financially helping someone, speaking a word of encouragement to them, reassuring someone about a matter, a hug, a prayer for them, or whatever God specifically tells me to do! Nothing thrills me more than to know that God used me to help somebody, to encourage someone, help to ease pain, a stressful situation in someone's life, or even to confirm something that perhaps God has been talking to them about. At the time that I asked Him to do this, I was not a blogger, and I had just joined Facebook, and I only joined Facebook to reconnect with old friends, and to minister to, encourage, or to inspire someone, in some way.

Well, this morning as I awoke, I admit that I reached for my cell phone on the table by my bed, to look at Facebook...no I did not sin because I looked at Facebook first this morning, instead of praying ...LOL! Anyway, there was an inbox message from one of my FB friends that basically said, "you don't know how God has changed my life, through you, by your post this morning. They proceeded to say that I must never stop doing what I do, never question it, and never let people's judgment sway me, that I must continue to obey God, and that I am so loved!" Wow, you can imagine how wet my pillow was as I lay there reading that! The tears started flowing, big time! I hadn't even gotten out of the bed yet, feet hadn't even touched the floor, and I was so blessed by that message. What a way to begin a day! You know that I am smiling right now. All, that I want to do in life, is to be a blessing! At 4am, when I  added that post, little did I know how it would impact someone's life...and who that someone would be.

In the months since I asked God for that special favor, I have started blogging, and posting on FB more. God has sinced revealed to me, that I have far surpassed ministering to 5 people a day. He has told me that I will really never know just how many have been ministered to, by me simply commenting on my friend's FB post with words of encouragement or a prayer, by posting on my own page, and by my blog too! He said that many people will never even tell me that they are reading the posts or the blog, they will never post a comment, and that's alright! He said that they are being blessed just the same!

God's Economic Plan...

Well, everywhere that I am turning lately, or whether I am reading the newspaper, watching the television, or even on Facebook or surfing the web, everything is about the upcoming Presidential election. The TV commercials have begun, the mudslinging, the promises to the people of what the candidates promise to do if elected...it is all underway. I am watching and listening to it all...but believe me, if I actually sit and listen to or watch the news reports, it is usually stumbled upon. I certainly am not letting it consume my life! It is so sad that life for many can be defined by two words -The Economy. For many, Life=The Economy! Folks don't elect candidates today because they feel that the candidates are good examples, that they or men or women of character, that they are the best person for the job. Many have been elected because they have promised to "fix" the Economy! Folks are consumed by the state of the economy. Folks have put all of their trust in the Government to fix things. Last time that I looked, it ain't fixed! I am not saying that it is this person's fault or that person's fault...The Government just does not have the answer, AND it is not the answer! People have based their life on the economy, and on the government fixing it! We are living in a time where countless numbers of people are stressed, depressed, fearful, having all kinds of diseases bought on by stress, having heart attacks, discouraged, worried about losing jobs, losing homes, paying this bills, college tuition etc. Worry, worry, worry! No peace!

A few weeks ago, I begin a study of the Gospels again. I started with the book of Matthew and today I completed it. Before I moved on to Mark, I was led to go back and read Matthew 6:19-34, but God said to read it in the Message version. Here is what it said:

"Don't hoard treasure down here where it gets eaten by moths and corroded by rust or-worse!-stolen by burglars. Stockpile treasure in heaven, where it's safe from moths and rust and burglars. It's obvious isn't it? The place where your treasure is, is the place you will most want to be, and end up being.
"Your eyes are windows into your body. If you open your eyes wide in wonder, and belief, your body fills up with light. If you live squinty-eyed in greed and distrust, your body is a dank cellar. If you pull the blinds on your windows, what a dark life you will have!
"You can't worship two gods at once. Loving one god, you'll you end up hating the other. Adoration of one feeds contempt of the other. You can't worship God and Money both.
"If you decide for God, living a life of God-worship, it follows that you don't fuss about what's on the table at mealtimes or whether the clothes in your closet are in fashion. There is far more to your life than the food you put into your stomach, more to your outer appearance than the clothes you hang on your body. Look at the birds, free and unfettered, not tied to a job description, careless in the care of God. And you count far more to him than birds.
"Has anyone by fussing in front of a mirror ever gotten taller by so much as an inch? All this time and money wasted on fashion-do you think it makes that much difference? Instead of looking at the fashions, walk out into the fields and look at the wildflowers. They never primp or shop, but have you ever seen color and design quite like it? The ten best-dressed men and women in the country look shabby alongside them.
"If God gives such attention to the appearance of wildflowers-most of which are never even seen-don't you think he'll attend to you, take pride in you, do his best for you? What I'm trying to do here is to get you to relax, to not be preoccupied with getting, so you can respond to God's giving. People who don't know God and the way he works fuss over these things, but you know God and how he works. Steep your life in God-reality, God-initiative, God-provisions. Don't worry about missing out. You'll find all your everyday human concerns will be met.
"Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don't get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes.
Wow! The answer for America and any other country today!

God has always had the plan for our life. He wants us to know and trust Him, not the economy, not a job, not a banker, not an individual, not the Government...Him! He never intended for people to be poor, to stress, to fear, to worry. God really does KNOW about us and the things that we need. He knows about feeding our family, about he mortgage, about a son or daughter in college, about those bills, He really knows! He wants us to turn to Him, put our faith in Him...not in a politician!

Believers, certainly are not to worry, We have a Father who loves us and takes care of us. I looked up the word Father. Here's what I found:

Father (noun)

1.Source.
2.One who exercises paternal care over other persons
3.Paternal Protector
4.Paternal Provider

Father (verb)

1.To assume as one's own
2.To take responsibility of

Wow, sounds like God, to me! No need to fear, no need to worry, no need to stress!

I was just sharing what I was thinking of today, because I am seeing more and more how people are worried. Just want to encourage you. I just want to see people live good lives. Enjoying life, sleeping at night. Not worried about stuff, especially to the extent that stress is causing diseases in one's body. We have help!

Turn everything over to God. Can you fix things? If you could, you would have. Can the government do it? If it could, it would have. Nobody can...but God can!

One Decree from a King, Can Change Everything!

God is so Amazing! He so loves His people. He loved us enough to write a book that leads us, that guides us, that tells us exactly Who God is...His character...His will...His plans and His desires for mankind. He did not want us to try to figure out what he is about, He did not leave us to depend upon what someone thinks that He is or Who He is, He actually wrote a personal letter to us, revealing Him! I love the Word of God. In it is everything that any of us needs. His Word really is a lamp, a light!

I have learned that the more of His Word that you get, I mean really get, the more of it that I desire, the more He will give me. If you seek understanding it, and you really seek to know more of it, it is so amazing how God will just flood you with truth and understanding. Glory!

Today, I was studying some more about God's Kingdom, and I was particularly studying about how a King rules. There are Scriptures that I have read many times, thinking that I really understood them. I am not saying that I didn't, but I see that God has so much more to say, in some instances, to me about those scriptures. I remember reading the account about Esther, about Daniel and the Hebrew boys, about how they found themselves in trouble because of a King's decree. John the Baptist was beheaded because the King decreed that he would give a dancer whatever she wanted. When she asked for the head of John the Baptist, the king was saddened, but he had to follow through. I knew that when a King made a decree, once he made it, he could not go back and change it! Once he made a decree, it became law, and even if someone in his kingdom may have violated the decree, but the king liked that person, or that person was a friend, the king was still obligated to carry out that decree, even if he wanted to make an exception, like in Daniel's case. What I am saying is that once a decree is made, it is permanent, forever, can't be changed!
A king has power in his mouth!

So, I have been studying the Kingdom of God... God is the King...and He has a Kingdom! He rules! But today in my study, it seems like lights just came on, and bells rang, and sirens went off, and it was a "WOW" moment! Ever had one of those "oh wow" moments...you have studied a particular passage of scripture for several days, a month, a year maybe, and suddenly, pow, it hits you..."I see it, I see it, and it eels like something in the pit of your stomach, I get it!" Today was definitely one of those days! (For those of you who already knew it, y-e-a!, now I got it.)

People decree things to us everyday, that many times they can't follow through on. Politicians get up and decree that they will get more jobs, make our cities better, no more taxes, spouses decree that they will love the other spouse forever and will always by the other's side, companies decree that you are a valuable employee and they will always be there for its workers, but many times, these decrees just don't happen... many times these same decrees are changed, politicians don't do what they said they would, spouses fall out of love and walk away, employees are suddenly not as valuable as they once were. But what I realized today is, God has made some awesome decrees to us, but He is not going to change what He decreed, and He is carrying out what He decreed!

Here are some of God's decrees to us:

Exodus 15:26-"I will put none of the diseases upon you that were on the Egyptians, I Am the Lord that heals thee"-Healing is a decree...it cannot be changed.

Exo. 33:14-"My presence shall go with you, and I will give you rest"

Deut. 28:1-14-"If you give heed to God and His Word, blessings will overtaken you. Blessed going out and coming in, blessings in your body...children, blessings in your finances, He commands in the blessings in your storehouses...accounts,

Psa. 91- No evil thing will happen to you and your home, no deadly disease will come upon you, God makes His angels to protect you, crazy things may happen all around you, but not to you, His Word will shield you.

Prov. 1:23-"I will pour out my Spirit unto you, I will make you to know My Words.

Eccl.8:4-"Where the word of a king is, there is power.

Isa. 41:10-"Fear not for I am with thee, don't be dismayed for I am your God, I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

Isa. 54:17- Nothing that the enemy are anyone who tries or plots evil against you, will succeed.

John 15:7-"If you abide in Me, and My Words abide in you, you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done unto you.

1John 4:17- as He is, so are we in the world.

There are so many more decrees that God has made, these are only a few! But once a king makes a decree, he must keep it, he cannot change it! Wow, this is awesome. Even when God decrees something to you personally in your private prayer time, whether He decrees something to you in a public worship, He cannot change it. He swore that He would keep His Word!

I don't know about you, but this is awesome to me. Wow, I can get up every day smiling and already knowing that good things are going to happen to me. I know that my body is whole, that I can leave my house, go to the mall, to a movie theater and enjoy a movie, without fear, I don't have to worry about anything, because I have everything because of the decrees that God has made over my life, my home, my children, my marriage, my finances, everything. That sounds like total freedom to me!

Who Are You?

Just sitting down a few minutes ago, enjoying the presence of God and His Word, and just thinking about how awesome God is and how awesome His Word is. The Bible is God's personal Love letter to me. I look into it, and I see who I am. It is so good to know who I am, for myself. I am not who others may say that I am, or who they may think that I am. I can look into God's Word, as if it is a mirror, and I see me! I have found out by listening to others, that if you don't know who you are, others will tell you who they think you are...and what they say, may not necessarily be the truth!

Today, I have been just thinking about some things that God has said about me. I have been meditating with delight, on truths about me. I can help but smile each and every day...I am Somebody...I got it going on! No, I don't have an hourglass figure, not a "10" as the world would say, not a celebrity in the news, but I am somebody!

Just thinking about how much that God loves me. He absolutely wants to be with me, have a relationship with me, daily talk with me, He cares about me, about what I am concerned about, He likes laughing and talking with me, and I sure love being with Him too. He reminds me that I am loved. He reminds me that He wanted a family, someone just like Him, who He could love and laugh with, who He could shower with His love and blessings, that's why we're here! He had the angels, but they were not like Him, He wanted someone just like Him, so He made us! He had Jesus, but He wanted more sons/daughters.

Ever noticed in the Gospels that Jesus is referred to as the Only Begotten Son of God, but in the Epistles, Jesus is called the firstborn Son of God...the firstborn of many brothers? If He is the firstborn, this must indicate that there are others. Yes there are others, and we are the others!

He is my Father. He takes care of me. He made Himself responsible for me. I am an Heir of God! Wow, this is an amazing truth about me....I am an Heir of God, and a joint-heir with Jesus. That does not mean that Jesus gets 50% and I get 50%, it means that Jesus gets 100% and I do too! Glory! Sometimes I just have to sit down during the course of the day, and meditate upon these truths. I am an Heir of God. He loves me and always will. He is not now, and never will be mad at me, punish me, leave me, forsake me, let go of me! I don't know about you, but that is awesome to me. Man, what reason do I have to be down, depressed, fearful, doubtful about God. He loves me. Why would I worry about not having something...I have everything!

I enjoy being with God. I don't have to worry if He will accept me...He does! I am righteous. He made me righteous. I don't have to beg for blessings. I don't have to try to convince Him that I need Him to do something for me. He wants to do it more than I want it.

I just love Him! Just thinking out loud! So very blessed. So grateful, so glad that I KNOW WHO I am!

Fighting or Resisting?

A Happy and a good Monday to all! I do hope that you had a great weekend, and that you are enjoying a good Monday. As you can see, I am up blogging early today (it was a little after 9 am when I started this) I have enjoyed one of those early morning quite times with God, that I love so much...the time before the phone starts to ring, before the television comes on, before one of my sons asks me where something is...the time when all is at rest. The Keurig is silent, the microwave is too...just peace and quiet!

I always so enjoy the ways that God teaches me about something. I still laugh and refer back to the teaching on His "Blowpop" revelation. (I blogged about this in a November 2011 post...check the archives). He is always using some unique illustration to get His point across, and today was no different.

I often ask God what is the one thing that He is concerned about today? Most of the time, about 90% of the time, He tells me that He is concerned that many in the body of Christ, have no idea who they are. Of course we talk about other things, but most of the time, it is about many in the body not really knowing who they are in Christ, not knowing what they are capable of, and seeing themselves as God does! More and more I read about people dying, about people being stressed and depressed, fearful, and hopeless...people who say that they love God and are His child, but who are sad, tired, depressed, giving up!

God said to me this morning that so many of His people are exerting too much energy in all the wrong things. He said that they are crying, begging, and working, fighting...not living and enjoying life. He said that too many are working hard to get stuff, they are crying out of frustration of trying to please Me and earn my blessings, they are not enjoying a relationship and fellowship with Me, instead they are begging Me for things as if I don't want them to have them, and they spend so much time trying to convince Me of their problems, and why they need things. They spend time talking about and fighting someone who has no power, and who has already been defeated (satan)!

This morning He showed me a big boxing match. It was in a Las Vegas or a Madison Square Garden setting. I don't know which one, I only know that it was a large venue and packed with people. He showed one of the boxers just knock the other boxer completely out...there was NO fighting, the boxer hit him one time and he was laying there still, not moving, utterly knocked out! The referee/official whatever he is, ( I am not a boxing fan) declared the match over and the winner was declared! As all of this is played out in my mind, the trainers for the boxer who was knocked out, are steadily trying to revive the boxer on the floor. The boxer who was knocked out, comes to, and he gets up and wants to fight the winning boxer again. The ref tells him that the match is over, you lost! There will be no more fighting! God then speaks to me and says, "Why would the winner put on his boxing gloves again, to fight all over? All he has to do is turn and walk away. He has already won, he does not need to fight again". God said that too many Christians are trying to fight a defeated foe! He said that Jesus has already defeated satan, but folks are trying to get in a ring and fight with him...he already lost! God said, "I did not say to fight the devil, I said to resist him.!" He said that there is a difference in fighting and resisting! Folks are using too much energy fighting! "You resist him by standing on the truth of My Word, that Jesus has already defeated him, that YOU are his master (satan)." We master him because God has given us power over him, we stand in the truth that in Christ we can't be touched by satan, we stand in the knowledge that the fight is over, that Jesus won it, utterly knocked him out, and we get the victory! Now for many, this will probably sound too juvenile, but it is what God showed me nevertheless. He said..."know who you are according to who I said you are...know what you can do according to what I said you can do, know what is yours and what you are entitled to according to what I said, not what people say".

Anyway, I received more understanding!

It's Been Here All Along!

Hello friends, I hope that everyone is enjoying their day. Remember that God gave it to you...so it is up to you to decide what kind of day that you will have.

Well, I wanted to share something that happened to me on yesterday. Ever had one of those "aha" moments? That moment when it seems like all that you can say is, "WOW! ... WOW... WOW! It isn't always earth shaking, not necessarily bad, nothing major, just one of those moments when it just seems like the light just came on! I had one of those moments on yesterday. I must admit that all I could do was smile, Praise God, and just shake my head.

Last year, I was blessed to be the receipent of a brand new HP Touchsmart computer. This was totally a gift that caught me by surprise! I had begun playing around with Graphics, some videoing and editing, now some photography and believe me, this computer is really great in all of these areas. I like pretty things, exciting things, and I like even more, being able to design things myself. I especially like playing around with the video stuff. I haven't quite gotten video editing perfect yet, but I like a challenge, and I have decided to keep working at it. I often observe the various television commercials, business advertisements, other graphics that I see in various places. I currently use a particular movie maker, which I love...but I have often thought to myself, how much that I would love a video editing program that could really add the fast movements, the special effects, and the real actions to my editing capabilities. Never have I ever mentioned this desire to one single person, not even God! I am big on asking God for a particular desire, but not this time. I am a strange person...if I have a particular thing, like the current movie maker program, or my current point and shoot camera, I don't want a bigger, more expensive camera, a bigger, more expensive program, until I can somewhat master the one that I already have. (I said that this is the way I am. I am sure that you are not like me, and you would want the bigger, newer, more expensive thing. That's good too...that's the way you do what you do...LOL!) So I was content to learn how to really get good at using what I already had. I just sometimes imagined using the newer programs for some of my videos.

Anyway, yesterday I was making DVDs, full of photos from an event that took place this past weekend. I was so proud of the DVD, sat down and watched it on my computer, played it on my son's laptop, to be sure that it was compatible with other devices. I would not want to send out DVDs that wouldn't work on other people's TVs, laptops or computers. Well, I decided to try it out on my big screen television, and to my surprise...it would not show...couldn't read image or audio data! Ugh! I had already made numerous copies of it. It would not play on any of my televisions in the house! Oh well...what now? I knew that I had a DVD program on my computer, maybe a I did something wrong? So, I then began searching the DVD Suite that was on the computer...as my grandmother would say, "with a fine tooth comb". To my huge surprise, I discovered a video editing program within the DVD Suite. I had looked at the Suite before, made DVDs before, but I had never seen this editing program. Oh my goodness...it is exactly the kind of editing program that I had been imagining! Remember, I never told anyone about my desire, and I never even discussed it with God, or asked God to give it to me. Not one time!

I was so excited, and immediately started to play around with it, to see what I could do with it. Suddenly God spoke to me and said, "It has been there, all along!" I have had this computer for a year now, and I never did see that program on it. God went further and said, "there are blessings all around you, that you have not seen in manifestations, that are not visible to you, can't see with your natural eyes, that are right there. You have asked for things that are not manifest to you, that you already have!
He said that others have asked Me for things, and those things are right there in their midst, even though they can't see them visibly"! They have been there all along!

This is what He said, and I am not going to add to it by trying to explain it! If you are reading this, and if it applies to you, I know that The Holy Spirit will show you.

That's all!

Life- More Abundantly!

I am going to warn you at the start of this post...it is lengthy, you may have to stop reading...make a sandwich, grab a coke, and come back to it. I just had some things on my heart...things that I have been talking to God about, things that have troubled me, things that I just wanted to share. I am not mad at anyone, but the devil!

First of all, I love people. All people. People that I know, people that I don't know. People who have not even been born yet. People who I have not even seen before, who I have never met. Those who have been shunned by society, those who are lovable and those who are unlovable too. Those who may think differently from me, those who may not like me. Those who may disagree with me, those who may do things different than I do...I love people! You may be saying, "how can she say that, how can this be true?" I love everyone because God loves everyone, and He has given me the ability to do so too! I have come in contact during my life, with some people who are quite nasty, unkind, mean, prejudiced, who frankly, just weren't pleasant to be around, who treated me ugly for no apparent reason...strangers, family members, folks in the grocery stores, in the malls, just people. But, I still love them, because God loves them, and I know that He loves me, even if no one else likes me, cares for me, if others treat me crazy, I rest in the truth that I am so loved by God. I can smile every day, knowing that I am loved, forgiven, approved, blessed by His grace, and favored. I want everyone to know that He loves you too, and He wants the best for everyone, that means YOU!

Yes, I know that it is hard to believe that God could love a Hitler, a drug dealer, a prostitute, a person who could rob people of millions of dollars...an entire life savings, a person who could abuse a child, a spouse, a rapist...a racist, a terrorist. But God loves so differently from us! Our finite minds cannot grasp the love that God has for everyone...yes, everyone! Sadly, people relate to God and His love, like they relate to everyday love...the kind that may be here today and gone tomorrow...the kind that brings two people together, one gets sick with a lengthy illness and sudden the other leaves, or the girlish figure leaves and strands of grey appear, and suddenly she is not so attractive as at first, or someone else looks a little finer...prettier...or the kind of love that suddenly causes one to fall out of love, you know..when you love them, but you are no longer "in love" anymore, or the kind where you will love, as long as everything is going your way, and all of your conditions are met!

Thankfully, God does not love like that! His love is unconditional...not based upon someone loving Him back...not making us earn it, not making us do all of the right things...we don't have to look a certain way, we don't have to "work" for it. We don't have to jump through hoops, take all kinds of abuse. God has no conditions. He just loves us, because He wants to. He loved us before we knew that we needed Him to. He loved us before we touched planet Earth, He loves those who have not been conceived yet! I am not saying that He loves the unkind, unloving, abusive, destructive things that people do, but the people...Yes! When Jesus gave His Son, He did it for every one. He soooo loved the world...He didn't just love the world, He soooooo loved! He didn't pick and choose. His love is for every one...but sadly every one won't choose His love.

I said all of this because I am so saddened by all of the times that I read of suffering and hear of suffering, and oftentimes, I hear people credit God for causing it, or "allowing it". This is so NOT true. More and more, God is being accused of awful things...sickness and disease, foreclosures, poverty, natural disasters, children dying, killings and murders, etc...supposedly because God is trying to teach us something, or He is causing these things to happen, so that He can get the glory when he brings you out of it. Why can't He just get the glory for protecting us from all of these things in the first place! God gets no glory for killing a baby, for putting cancer in someone's body, or wiping out thousands of people with a hurricane, flood, tornado or sunami. No, God is not talking to us through these things. He talks through His Word, through His Spirit, to our spirit. Would real love do this? I love my sons, and I only want the very best for them. I would not dream of doing a deadly thing to them to punish them, or to try to teach them something. I would be in a prison today, if I did to my children...what God has been accused of doing! God delights in giving life, not taking it...in healing, not making sick...in supplying Wants and needs, not causing one to be in want, in poverty! God hates death, death is an enemy of God (Ezekiel is just one of the many Scriptures that God talks about death...He hates the death of him who dies...He has no pleasure in death..Eze. 18:32) God is not causing folks to lose their homes...God promised and is giving us good homes (more than one) and even filling them with good things, even with swimming pools if you want one-Deut. 6:10-11...He is not making people lose their home. Suffering for Christ is not suffering with sickness, with poverty, children lost to the world, a bad marriage. Suffering for Christ is suffering by being ridiculed, persecuted, rejected because you want to live holy, because you want to not engage in activities that you once did, that you now know is contrary to God's way, because you want to glorify Christ. Suffering is when you speak up for Christ and no one wants to include you in their gatherings anymore...it is doing things for the sake of the Kingdom...not lying on a bed with your body filled with disease for Jesus! All through the Gospels, we see Jesus healing...healing folks with sickness in their body, healing people who were possessed with demons, He stopped funerals, woke the dead folks up. If Jesus only said and did what He saw His Father do, then God must be healing too! Jesus got rid of sickness, except where people did not believe. Jesus has not changed...He is the same, still healing, still hate sickness and disease. He is the same yesterday, today and forever! I didn't say yesterday, today and tomorrow...not tomorrow. He wants you well TODAY!

I just hate to see all of the sickness, especially among professing Christians. A part of Redemption included divine health. God wants His people well, not suffering with one disease after another. It is almost impossible to sit and watch 30 minutes of television, without hearing about 10 new medications or diseases! Now, they are even telling a mother that it can be harmful to hold her baby! How crazy is that! God has said that He has already GIVEN us everything that pertains to life and godliness...good health pertains to life, would you agree? Having a roof over your head, a dependable vehicle, a safe neighborhood, money in the bank...these things pertains to life, and they give you a sense of peace when you are well, with money in the bank, a nice home to live in, and your children all well. (2 Peter 1:2-4). We have an awesome Inheritance, and it is for right NOW! Not for heaven, although we will enjoy good things there too, BUT WE CAN HAVE THESE BLESSINGS NOW, TODAY! We are included in an awesome will! Jesus has already dies so that it would go into effect, and He even came back from the dead to carry it out!

If you are a child of God and you are reading this, (if you have never asked Jesus into your heart, if you have never confessed that Jesus died for your sins, and was raised for your salvation, you can right now) you DO NOT have to put up sickness and disease, with spending all of your money going from one doctor to another, tests after tests, pills after pills and not getting better. Just believe God. The woman with the issue of blood, she kept spending money until she had spent everything that she had. Instead of getting better, she was getting worse. She heard about Jesus and she believed that He would heal her. He did! He wants to do the same for you.(Mark 5:25-34) I know that so many things just don't make sense, but God didn't say that it had to make sense, He simply asked you to believe!

He is still healing. He is still raising the dead. He s still providing. He still wants us to live a good life, an abundant life, a life overflowing with blessings, a life just like His! He has an awesome plan for you, yes, YOU! He said that He wants to give you a future...well guess what, we are living the future right now! Reach out and receive what is yours...receive the good plan that God has for you. Trust God. Trust His promises to manifest in your life! God LOVES His people!!!

I just want to see everyone live a good life. No more defeats in life, just barely getting along, scraping, struggling, hanging on by your nails, stressed, depressed, just surviving. We are not supposed to be just surviving...we are supposed to be living, flourishing, thriving! We have eternal life in us. Eternal life doesn't just have to do with quantity of life, BUT QUALITY of life also. Jesus said, "I come that you might have life (zoe-the God kind of life, the very nature of God, His essence, everything that God is...), and have it MORE abundantly! (John 10:10). Can you imagine that! God has made it such that we can have in us, everything that makes God, God. We have His very nature, His ability to love people, His ability to forgive people who have wronged us, His desire to see the best in others...and desire that good things happen for others, that we genuinely care and are concerned for others, not just always concerned about ourselves...wow! That's our Father!

Whatever you need...God has it for YOU!

I love you! Walk in your victory, abundance, peace!

A Pat on the Back!

Wow, here I am again, almost at the close of June, and I am smiling from ear to ear, and I had to even stop, and pat myself on the back, and tell myself that I did a good job! Sometimes, we just have to do that...stop and take the time to commend our self, for the good job that we do!

Ever been at a place in life where you know that a particular thing must be done, no way of getting around it, no matter how long that you ignore it, procrastinate in doing it, you know that it must be done? Things that I know must be accomplished, especially the things that I like to do...(not the things that cause a little anxiety, or that are not especially fun...) I seem to do those things. I will jump right on things that I especially like to do...but those things that I don't want to do, I usually put them off, knowing that I will eventually have to come back to them and do them anyway, because if they are going to get done, I must be the one who gets them done. It might be small things around the house, which was my case, or it may be something major, that you just don't want to face at the moment..like telling something to your spouse, calling a creditor about a past due bill, sharing something with a boss, a friend, a co-worker that isn't easy to say, etc. All of my life, I have been asked to do things, not wanting to do them, but not having the nerve to say no. Then my family had to listen to me whine about having to do something that I just didn't want to do!

Well, I decided that some things just had to change! I had to handle things that needed to get done, stop putting them off and I also had to stop being forced into doing things that I din't want to do, in other words, I had to learn to speak up! I am too old to be stressed, and Jesus has done too much for me to allow myself to be stressed!

Well I had to stop and smile today, pat myself on the back. I set some goals for myself, for the month of June. I had to tackle some things, and I had to tackle them, my way. I see that I am going to have to set monthly goals for me. I am not telling anyone how to get things done, I just know that I am going to have to handle things on a monthly basis...that seems to work for me. Ok, you know that I am Mrs. Christmas, love, love, love to decorate...not just one tree, but many trees. These are not counter top trees, these are 61/2 and  9ft. trees. One tree has 2400 lights on it...one tree! It is so much fun beginning in October, when I start decorating. It is a major accomplishment when I can light up the house on Thanksgiving night, and enjoy all of the trees and lights, all of November and December...but here comes January! In January, when I face all of the decorations...I really don't feel like taking all of that stuff down! Putting it up is so much fun, but taking it down is another matter!

So here it is, June, and yes I am still looking at trees (don't judge me-LOL!). Every day since January 1st, I keep telling myself that I am going to start taking down decorations...and every evening I tell myself...tomorrow. Well six months into 2012, outside temperatures are at 100 degrees, and I have a Winter Wonderland and snow in my Living Room!

Well I decided that I must tackle this, and tackle it NOW! At the beginning of this month, I set a goal for myself...I was determined to have all decorations in the front three rooms of my home...totally free of any trace of Christmas. About 30 minutes ago, that goal was accomplished! I totally removed every Christmas item from each of those rooms, and I even totally rearranged the furniture in my parlor...Jesus and me! Living room, dining room, parlor, totally empty of any and every Christmas items...even  glitter! It took an entire month to get it done, but it is done! thus the pat on the back, and me blogging about it! I just had to shout about it, and share this accomplishment. Hey, I even spoke up, and did not do some thing that I was asked to do by someone! I did not feel like doing it, and I didn't! Yay me! That set me free!!! I actually had to have a serious conversation with myself. I had to tell myself, "Gayle, you are a grown woman, married, raised two adult sons, 55 years old...and you are allowing someone to make you do what you don't want to do...what's wrong with you! Well when the day came, I didn't do it, and I felt good! I was free...I am forever free! I had to tell myself that Jesus made me free indeed, then I has to ask myself, why am I allowing myself to be bound by not speaking up! I broke free, and I am not going to allow myself to be bound again!

So June is a great month for me! Goals were reached. I am now busy setting my goal for July...take down more trees. I know that Jesus and I will get this done too!

Yes!

Peace and Quiet....Priceless!

Good Saturday morning to you! It has been a while since I have been here, but I could not let this moment pass today, without posting this morning. It is a beautiful, sunny, peaceful, still, calm, Saturday morning, and I am absolutely enjoying it! No one besides me is moving at my house. The birds are still asleep...all I hear is the tick-tock, tick-tock of the clock in the room. I seems like the trees, birds, insects...are still asleep. I am sitting and looking out of the window of my family room, and the trees are still, the shrubbery is still, nothing moving but one brightly colored , green lizard. He seems to be glad that the has the whole outside to himself!

There are many things that I enjoy in life, but there is nothing that I cherish more and enjoy more than peace and quiet. I love these special moments, moments when I know that it is just me and my Father, no one else! Moments when I know that He is sitting right there besides me...I have Him all to myself, I have all of His attention, yet in reality, I know that someone else on the other side of the world, is sitting and perhaps saying the very same thing, and feeling exactly as I am right now, that it is just the two of them! He has this way of making you feel like there is no one else in the world, that no one else matters at the moment but me, but the two of us, and no one can get in the way of us! I love these moments...sitting and just meditating on how great He is. Just sitting, not rushed, not worried, not afraid, just still, peaceful, quiet, lost in His embrace, talking back and forth, not having to say everything grammatically correct, not having to be formal, and not having to feel that I am not worthy to be enjoying being with Him. I can really sit and enjoy my Father.

I love Him, but He loves me so much more! I am just sitting here thinking about how free that I am. How blessed that I am to have the assurance that I am loved, and always will be, the assurance that there is nothing that I can do to cause Him to ever stop loving me. That's so freeing to me...to know that someone will always love me, even if I mess up, say or do something so stupid, if I don't pray today, if I don't pick up my Bible today, if I get mad at someone, if I just don't feel like doing anything today...I am still loved! I will always be loved because it is not about what I do, how I perform. I don't have to perform, keep a list of rules, a do and don't list, to be accepted by Him. I don't have to perform to get God's blessings, to get His love, His favor or His grace, I am so accepted by Him.

I was just sitting here and thinking about all that God has done for me. How He created us because he wanted a family that He could shower with His love and abundant blessings, someone just like Him! The angels weren't enough, He wanted a family just like Himself, so He created you and me. I am just thinking about the length that he went to, to keep us, to keep our relationship even after Adam messed up and plunged us into sin, God still didn't let us go, He still wanted His family back! Every now and then, I have to stop and remember all that He did to get us back. Sometimes life will cause you to forget the real, the truth of life. What we see here on this earth with our natural eyes, will sometimes try to convince us that this is  reality, but really it isn't. The truth that I am eternally loved, forgiven, kept, protected, healed, prosperous, righteous, that I can never have God mad at me, that He will never reject me...that's real, that's reality!

Anyway, I am just  enjoying this quiet calm, and rejoicing, and so at peace! I hear a little stirring in the house now. Seems like nature is also awake now...I hear some birds!

I am going and continue to enjoy this wonderful day that God has given me. What will you do with your day? I hope that you will enjoy it!

Happy Friday All...

Well hello everyone...I hope that everyone is having a good Friday. I sure am! I know that it has been a while since I have posted, so I decided to say hello today. I have really been enjoying myself, and quite happy about things around the house that are getting done, finally! Guess what, I have spent the week taking down Christmas tress! Yeah Christmas trees. You think I don't know it's June. Now that you have finished laughing and talking about me, I don't just put up one tree, and I don't just put up a wreath on the front door, I really decorate a tree and I really decorate our house. Sometimes as my sons says, "mama, I can't see the green tree, so many ornaments are on it"! As I have admitted before, I love to decorate at Christmas. Yes I know that it is June, but I am finally getting them down, and I am happy with myself. I am so quick to add that it was only by God's power and strength, that I am able to do so. Putting the trees up is always the fun part, but taking all of them down, is something else. I have to be in the right frame of mind for such a sometimes monumental undertaking.

I have always believed that God will use any situation to teach us a lesson (no I don't mean like making you sick, causing you to have financial problems, killing your child...things that people so often blame God for,) I mean He many times uses the day to day activities of life to show us something, and that is exactly what he is doing with the tree situation!

I absolutely, positively know that God loves me, and cares about me, and cares about the things that I care about or am concerned with. While taking a break from taking the trees down, God spoke to me and reminded me that He cares about me taking down Christmas trees, because He knew that I really was determined to take them down. For the last few weeks, I have been looking at them, and I wanted them down, but when I decided to start, I removed maybe 5 or 10 ornaments, got tired and turned and walked away. Yuk! Finally, this week arrived and I decided that I would begin again. I set a goal and I was determined to reach it. I always know that God is with me...but this time it was like I got a shot of power, and before I went to bed last night, I'd  taken down two trees, boxed them both and put them away. I went to bed feeling pretty good last night, feeling that I had really accomplished my first goal.

Today, I decided to press on, but before I got started, God talked to me and reminded me once again, that He cares about what concerns me...He cares about me taking down trees, He cares about me wanting a particular outfit, He cares about me having good service and good food at a restaurant that I eat at...He cares about what I care about. God is so amazing. He told me while talking to me today that so many people "save Him" for the big things in life. They save Him for the family problems, marriage problems, sickness and disease problems, problems with finances or a job. He said, "I care about everything! I care about the little things that you care about from day to day. I care about you getting a good parking spot. I care about you getting a good sale, cooking a good meal, your child wanting to go back to school, getting that right shade of lipstick. I care about that, because you care about that! God is so good!
I must say, "we are having fun talking and taking down trees", and we are getting it done. Being able to do it at mt own pace, not on schedule, being able to walk away from it, and coming back to it, helps a lot too.

I just wanted to share some of my day with you and encourage you at the same time. I want you to know that God really, really does care about you. He even told us to cast or give our cares to Him, BECAUSE He cares for us. That sounds like someone who really wants to get into our day, our activities. Someone who can do something about a situation for you. It doesn't sound like someone who doesn't want to be bothered with you, who couldn't care less about you, who does not care if your bills are not paid, who does not care if you have a pain. He cares about everything. There is noting that I cannot talk to my Father about! I can't think of anything! He absolutely cares about what you care about. He is teaching me about Photography. I want to know, and He is teaching me. He is teaching me about Graphic Design. I like that, and He is teaching me. We talk about everything, and I do mean everything. He's my Daddy!

Have a good day and a great weekend!

Just Another Trick of the Devil!

Well, once again I just learned of the passing of another victim of cancer, Donna Summer. I was saddened once again. I absolutely hate cancer, hate hearing the name, hate the effects of it, hate how it tears up families, destroys home, hate the one who is behind it! This is yet another one of satan's evil schemes, devices, attacks on mankind. He has ravaged so many bodies, homes, families with this evil disease.

I recall several years ago, in a hospital elevator, hearing a young lady who had just visited a loved one, she cried and said how much she hated cancer. Reading today on Facebook, about Donna Summer's death, once again, I saw that someone posted about how he hated cancer.

Cancer is a cruel disease. It is demonic. It is relentless in some cases. I hear people talk about it, bow down to it, back away from it, as though it has all power. It does not! Some people give it more power than they give God. I am always so amazed when I hear folks talk about cancer and how powerful it is. It is not more powerful than God. Please, I am in no way, downplaying what cancer has or is doing to people. I have seen it do horrible things, but cancer is not God.

God is All-powerful, no doubt about it! He has all power over cancer. God can heal anything, and everything. it does not matter what the illness, sickness, disease or malady is-God is more powerful. He can get rid of it. God hates it as much as I do. He hates it because He knows that once again, satan is destroying, or attempting to destroy a life. he does not have to win. God has promised us that He will heal ALL of our diseases.-(Psalm 103:)3, God promised that He will not put diseases on us, but that He will heal all of them-(Exodus 15:26), this includes cancer, diabetes, a cold, a broken fingernail, an aching back-whatever, it is included in ALL, God promised that He will not let any weapon that is formed against us, to hurt or destroy us-(Isaiah 54:17); sickness and disease is a weapon formed by the enemy (satan) against people. In Matthew 13:15, Jesus said that every plant which my heavenly Father did not plant, SHALL be rooted up. Cancer is a growth, God did not plant it, BUT He promised to up root it! God promises that His Word would be Medicine to all our flesh, if we give our attention to and BELIEVE His Word-(Proverbs 4:20-22), God promises that we can have what we say, when we say what The Word says...(Mark 11:23-24). When we say and believe that by Jesus' stripes we are healed, when we say that what Jesus did on the cross was for us, that it is a finished work, not that He is going to heal us, but that Jesus has already healed us, and healing is our covenant right...etc. We can make a demand on the Word. We can decree that our body is healed, because God said that it is! The Word said that we can decree a thing and it will be established! Decree total healing in your body.

GOD WANTS US WELL! He is NOT mad at us. He does NOT make people sick. He is NOT trying to teach us something. He is NOT trying to humble us. He is NOT punishing us! He gets no glory out of people dying with any sickness or disease. Acts 10:38 says that sick sick people are oppressed by the devil, NOT by God! Jesus said in Luke 13:11-16, that this woman was oppressed for many years by the satan, NOT by God. God said that she should have been healed a long time ago! God anointed Jesus to go around healing, NOT making people sick! Jesus said that He only does what His Father does-never has it said in the Word that Jesus made anyone sick!

I say this with all sincerity, if it is the will of God that folks be sick, then Jesus is OUT OF THE WILL OF GOD! I'm just sayin'!

Sweet Peace!

Hi! It's me, yeah it's been a while...been enjoying life! I have vacationed with family, as always I have loved being with my husband and our sons, I have just been chillin'!

Ever been in a place where every thing is "just right"? I am at that place. It is a good place. It is a place where every thing is calm. I am not saying that my life is filled with drama, it absolutely is not, thank God...but I am at a place where peace abides...where birds are singing...the shrubbery outside is pretty and green, lush and still, and there is a quiet, stillness all around me. No I don't believe that it is the "calm before the storm"! I don't believe that I should be looking for and expecting storms in my life! I have learned to expect these quiet, peaceful times...the older I get, the more I expect times like these. I love peace. Please don't get me wrong, I am concerned about the world that I live in...family and friends. I am concerned about folks hurting, stressed, sad, depressed. I have just learned to relax, be still, get quiet, soak in the moment. it is awesome. Not running around, rushing everywhere. I believe that God has given us the power to choose...am I going to be stressed, worried, or fearful, or am I going to really believe and trust Him, and experience moments like these?

I am actually cooking, house smelling and filled with the aroma of red beans simmering on the stove, it even looks like the beans are at peace, just the right simmer! They are even calm.

I just noticed that it is getting cloudy and dark outside...looks like the sky is about to open...rain is on the way! It is about to be even calmer. I like the rain too. I am beginning to hear the gentle rumbling of thunder...even it is not boisterous as thunder can be, even it is a quiet thunder. Funny isn't it, everything at peace.

God wants us to live life at a calm. He wants us to relax, experience His presence and His embrace. He wants us to know that every thing is alright! The enemy tries his best to convince us that everything is wrong. He wants us to be in a constant state of turmoil...the more stress, and drama...he happier he is!
God on the other hand, wants us to be still. He wants to really lead us to still waters, to enable us to lie down in green pastures, even if those pastures are in your home, in your favorite spot in your home, even in a nice warm bath, with lots of bubbles and soft candlelight, even at your stove, stirring a pot of beans...wherever He is, and wherever you are with Him!

Yes, I can sit looking out my window in our family room, I can close my eyes and instead of Calgon taking me away, I am taken away by Him, to a quiet place, a refreshing place, an intimate place of fellowship with Him, loving my Daddy's embrace. no one can hold me like my Father can...I am getting teary-eyed as I write this.

Well, the timer is ringing on the stove...gotta go check on the beans. Just wanted to share a little peace with you!

I love you guys!

I 'm Baaaack!

Hello everyone, I'm back! I realize that it has been a while since I've posted, but I was away for two glorious weeks of much needed rest, and relaxation! No, I am not employed outside of the home, no I do not punch a time clock everyday, but trust me, everyone needs a rest from something, sometime! Please don't get it twisted, just because someone does not work outside of the home, on a 8 hour a day job, don't think that they are just sitting around the house, in front of the television, watching soap operas, and eating Bon-Bons! It is certainly not like that! Many times because we are at home, others conveniently find things for us to do. We need a vacation sometime!

Anyway, I certainly did enjoy my vacation. God is so awesome, as I have said many times before, and probably will say many times more! It's just the truth. Our God is awesome. If you will let Him, He really will show you how to lie down in "green pastures", and rest, even if those "green pastures" are only an hour away!
God cares about us, He really does. He wants us to rest, to lay besides "still" waters, and because of the wonderful rest that He gives, He restores our soul.

It was so good to just get-away, not to have to ask for a "wake-up" call every morning, just sleep until noon if we wanted to. We really need to stop, rest, relax, and sometimes just get away. We really surprised ourselves this time. Normally we take our vacation during the month of August, as we have done for the last several years, until last year, when the event that we usually attend as our vacation, was moved from August to July.
As we have done in previous years, we set up the vacation for this July, to attend the event that we usually attend. It just suddenly hit us, why do we have to wait until July, to go somewhere and rest? We are tired now, we need rest now, why would we wait until July?

How many times in life, have we put off things until a certain time? I have a china cabinet full of beautiful china, that I have used maybe three times, in 33 years! Just waiting for that special occasion. Crazy isn't it? You can say yes, but you are probably guilty of this also. It may not be china, but it may be a much needed vacation, it may be purchasing a home, an automobile, a handbag, special perfume, just waiting until the "right" time. Oh c'mon, you've done it too! You know that you want that special "Queen for a Day" Spa treatment, that special bottle of perfume, that special dress, but you continue to put it off. I say spa treatment, a dress, perfume, because I know as women, we know how to put things off! We concentrate on getting every thing that our husband and the children need, that our parents need, so often putting off what we really want. So my husband and I looked at each other, and decide that we were not going to wait, vacation here we come! We promptly made reservations, packed, and off we went! Best two weeks, ever! Great rest, wonderful restaurants, peace, quiet, shopping galore!

So, now you know why I have been away! I encourage you, if you are in need of rest, don't keep putting it off! Ladies, treat yourself. Go get that mani/pedi, that much needed massage! I can remember picking my husband up from work on a Friday, suitcase packed, and off to Kemah for the weekend! Surprised him, and had great times. Those "surprise" get-aways are always so much fun!

Anyway, stop putting things off, enjoy each day!

Good morning, Blow-pop! (Re-post from November 2011)

(I always want to do what God instructs me to do. I was instructed to re-post this blog today, which was originally posted in November 2011. So I am doing what I was told to do. It is my desire that the power and anointing of God that was present on the first post, will be on this one, and that someone's life will be blessed by it again!)

Good morning, Blow-pop!

You know, God is such an awesome God and Father. He has so many ways to get a point across. I am always laughing at some of the ways that He talks to me. We have to be careful not to allow ourselves to try to "lock" God into doing things a certain way, every time. We can become so accustomed to God answering a prayer in a certain way, talking to us in a certain way, that we think that He will perform that way, each and every time. Not so! He has so many ways of moving in our circumstance or situation.

This morning, I was sitting and spending time with my Father, and I asked Him what was on His mind this morning. He said that His people were not living the best life, and they have simply settled! He said that His people are living way below His best. We talked about this a little more, and He showed me that because we are in Christ, nothing can touch us. One thing that I have learned about God is that He has a sense of humor. I know that as a constant visitor to Facebook, I often see letters like ROTFL( rolling on the floor laughing), LOL(laughing out loud), and SMH (shaking my head). I really believe that I could use some of these letters when I talk to God too! I believe that He uses some of the letters too! I can honestly see Him falling off of the throne, laughing! He has said some funny things to me!

He set out to explain to me, that nothing could touch me because I am in Christ. You are gonna think that I am crazy when I say this, but He showed me what it is like being in Christ. He showed me a picture of ME inside of a Blow-pop! Yeah, you heard me, a Blow-pop! He said that I am the gum part of it, and Jesus is the hard candy around it! (Please keep visiting to my blog, I am not crazy!) Believe me, I am shaking my head as I type this!
A Blow-pop! He said that as that gum is inside that hard candy shell, that's the way I am in Christ! Nothing can penetrate that shell (JESUS).  He showed me sickness, lack, debt, poverty, depression, stress, it can't get through that shell! He showed me that when He looks at that Blow-pop, He only sees the shell! He said that when He looks at me, He only sees Jesus! I'm in there, but He only sees that outside shell, JESUS! He doesn't see a sinner. He doesn't see someone who keeps messing up. He doesn't see any of the pictures that we see ourselves as, because we have believed the lies of the enemy! satan can paint a ugly picture of you, and have you believing the lie! God showed me this today, I"m like, Really! We both had to laugh. It was funny to me, but I understood. I didn't say to God, but I thought in my mind, I bite down and crack that candy all of the time to get to that gum. (I didn't say that to God, but I sure was thinking it-LOL).  All of a sudden God spoke to me and said, nothing cracks this shell that is around you! Whoa! Sometimes we forget that He knows our thoughts. Ok, I had to laugh again!

To me, it was funny how God spoke to me, but He let me see things a little different. He is not some deep God. He wants us "to get it"! I am in Christ, and anything that tries to attack me, has to go through Jesus first, and that's IMPOSSIBLE!!! Sickness can't do it. Lack/debt can't do it, stress, depression, discouragement etc, NOTHING can do it! Nothing can overcome Jesus! Nothing can crack that shell! As long as we stay "in Him", then we can sing M.C.Hammer's song, "You can't touch this"! and do his dance! Anyway, I have had a good laugh to start my day!

Thank you Father

It was a good day!

Well, Resurrection Sunday is almost over, according to the calendar, but certainly not according to what the Resurrection stands for! We can enjoy the benefits of the Resurrection of the Lord Jesus, every day of our life! I celebrate the Resurrection every day! Because of the Resurrection, we can celebrate.

Today was a good day, and I thank Jesus for it. Had a great Worship Service, with a great Resurrection Day message, and best of all four young people responded to the appeals for salvation or to be filled with the Holy Spirit! I can't think of a better way to celebrate this special day, than to see souls added to the Kingdom of God! Thank you Jesus!

I do hope that your day was a good one also. Goodnight!

~Gayle

Happy Resurrection Day...

Although it is 12:42 am, and I am still up, (like I don't have to get up in only a few short hours for church), it is officially Resurrection morning! I am so overjoyed at all that it means to me as a child of God. Because Jesus got up, I will get up, get up from what, up from anything in life that would seek to get me down! Whether it is a person, a sickness or disease, a bill, debt or whatever, I get up and I am victorious over anything that opposes me. I am so grateful that Jesus died! He chose to die for me. When He was on the cross, I was on His mind! If I had been, or if you had been the only person on the face of the earth at that time, He still would have died for one person! He would have died for just you, or just me! He paid a high price for my freedom, that is why I refuse to be put back into any type of bondage again, bondage to people, emotions, sickness or disease, lack, debt, or any insufficiency, anything! He made it possible to have a relationship with God again, based on His merits, based on His obedience, based on the fact that His blood was the full payment for my sin debt. There was not enough money in the world to pay that debt, but Jesus paid it for me. Thank God for the blood. God took His blood as full payment of my sin.

I am special, and you are too! I am so free, I am so free from the need to try to please God or people, because of Jesus, I already do! Glory! I please God. He loves me, He is not mad at me, I don't have to fear God punishing, He already punished Jesus for me and I don't have to work for His love, don't have to pray for His love, don't have to fast for His love...He unconditionally loves me! He favors me.

I celebrate this day with excitement, with gratitude and thanksgiving, with hope and expectation! I know that no one or nothing can stop me in life, because of the Resurrection! The very same power that raised Jesus from the dead, is in ME! The same power! That power is with me always! That is resurrection power. Resurrection power is in me now. I am shouting right at this minute! I am so grateful! I can't lose. It is utterly IMPOSSIBLE! As I partake of the Holy Communion today, I can't help but think about Him on that cross. How that sinless, precious blood flowed for you  and for me. I think about how powerful that blood is. The Father highly esteemed it because it was pure blood, it was sinless blood, it was not tainted in any way. That's why God could accept it for payment of our sin. That blood is so powerful, that when you take the communion and you have sickness in your body, that blood can instantly get rid of it. That blood is so powerful, that you can cover your children, your home with it and know for a certainty that nothing can touch them, you can apply that blood to any bill, any job application, any test paper, and know that it is to your advantage.

I love the Lord. Thank you Jesus, for taking my place! Thank you for paying my bill! Thank you for shedding your blood! Thank you for dying for me! Thank you for getting up!

Happy Resurrection Day!
